Understanding the Fan Heat Index
The Fan Heat Index (FHI) is our proprietary scoring system that measures the vitality of a character's fandom on a scale of 0 to 100. It combines five dimensions:
- Engagement — Community activity levels across forums and discussion platforms
- Social Activity — Presence and activity on social media platforms
- Meme Velocity — How quickly and widely character-related memes and viral content spread
- Fan Art Density — Volume and quality of fan-created artwork and creative content
- Fandom Longevity — Sustained fan interest over time, beyond initial premiere hype
