Aaron Paul Sturtevant, known professionally as Aaron Paul, is an American actor born on August 27, 1979, in Emmett, Idaho. He moved to Los Angeles after high school to pursue acting, taking on small roles in television shows including Beverly Hills, 90210 and ER before his breakthrough.

Paul achieved international stardom as Jesse Pinkman, the troubled former student turned methamphetamine cook alongside Bryan Cranston in Breaking Bad (2008-2013). His raw, emotional performance earned him three Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. He reprised the role in the 2019 Netflix film El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.

Following Breaking Bad, Paul has taken on diverse roles including the Hulu series The Path (2016-2018), HBO's Westworld (2020), and voicing Todd Chavez in the Netflix animated series BoJack Horseman (2014-2020).
