Ayooluwa "Ayo" Edebiri is an American actress, comedian, and writer born on October 3, 1995, in Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated from New York University and began her career in comedy writing, working on shows like What We Do in the Shadows and Big Mouth (where she also took over the voice role of Missy).

Edebiri broke through as Sydney Adamu, the ambitious young chef who becomes Carmy's business partner, in the FX series The Bear (2022-present).
