Christopher Walken is an American actor born Ronald Walken on March 31, 1943, in Astoria, Queens, New York. He began performing as a child on television and in theater, and over six decades has become one of the most distinctive and celebrated actors in American cinema.
Walken won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for The Deer Hunter (1978) and has appeared in over 100 films.
