Damian Watcyn Lewis is an English actor born on February 11, 1971, in London. He attended Eton College and trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Lewis won the Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor for his portrayal of Marine Sergeant Nicholas Brody in Homeland (2011-2014). He is also known for Band of Brothers (2001), Billions (2016-2023), and Wolf Hall (2015). His ability to project simultaneous vulnerability and menace made Brody one of the most compelling characters in television drama.
