Daniel Kaluuya is a British actor and writer born on February 24, 1989, in London, England, to Ugandan parents. He began acting as a teenager and wrote for the E4 series Skins.
Kaluuya won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for Judas and the Black Messiah (2021) and was nominated for Best Actor for Get Out (2017). He appeared in the Black Mirror episode "Fifteen Million Merits" (2011), one of his earliest notable roles. He also starred in Nope (2022) and has become one of the most acclaimed actors of his generation.
