Dean Joseph Norris is an American actor born on April 8, 1963, in South Bend, Indiana. He graduated from Harvard University before attending the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. He began his career in the late 1980s with small film and television roles.

Norris is best known for his role as DEA agent Hank Schrader in the AMC series Breaking Bad (2008-2013). His portrayal of the boisterous yet determined brother-in-law of Walter White earned widespread critical acclaim, particularly in the final seasons where Hank's pursuit of Heisenberg reached its dramatic climax.
