Diego Luna Alexander is a Mexican actor, director, and producer born on December 29, 1979, in Toluca de Lerdo, Mexico. He began acting as a child in Mexican telenovelas and film.
Luna gained international fame with Y Tu Mamá También (2001) and starred as Cassian Andor in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), reprising the role in the Disney+ series Andor (2022-present). He is also known for Milk (2008), The Terminal (2004), and as a prominent advocate for immigrant rights and social justice. He co-founded the production company La Corriente del Golfo.
