Ebon Moss-Bachrach is an American actor born on August 20, 1977, in Amherst, Massachusetts. He studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and built a career in theater, independent film, and television over two decades before his breakout role.
Moss-Bachrach became a critical and fan favorite for his role as Richard "Richie" Jerimovich, Carmy's brash, loyal cousin and restaurant manager, in the FX series The Bear (2022-present). His transformative arc from an abrasive, grieving man to a refined front-of-house professional, particularly showcased in the acclaimed Season 2 episode "Forks," earned him a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 2024.
