Finn Wolfhard is a Canadian actor, musician, and director born on December 23, 2002, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He began acting at a young age, landing small television roles before his breakthrough in Stranger Things.
Wolfhard rose to fame as Mike Wheeler in the Netflix series Stranger Things (2016-2025), playing the de facto leader of the group of friends at the heart of the show. The role made him one of the most recognizable young actors in the world and earned him a Screen Actors Guild Award as part of the ensemble cast.
Beyond Stranger Things, Wolfhard starred as Richie Tozier in the horror films It (2017) and It Chapter Two (2019), and voiced a character in the animated Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021) and its sequel.
