Jeffrey Dean Morgan is an American actor born on April 22, 1966, in Seattle, Washington. He attended Skagit Valley College on a basketball scholarship before pursuing acting.
Morgan is best known for playing Negan in The Walking Dead (2016-2022) and its spin-off Dead City. He previously gained recognition as Denny Duquette in Grey's Anatomy, John Winchester in Supernatural, and The Comedian in Watchmen (2009). His portrayal of the bat-wielding Negan became one of the most polarizing and celebrated villain performances in television history.
