Jung Ho-yeon, also known as HoYeon Jung, is a South Korean actress and model born on June 23, 1994, in Seoul, South Korea. She first gained prominence as a fashion model, finishing as the runner-up on Korea's Next Top Model Season 4 in 2013, and went on to walk for major fashion houses including Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Bottega Veneta.

Jung made a stunning acting debut as Kang Sae-byeok (Player 067), the stoic North Korean defector competing for her family's survival, in the Netflix series Squid Game (2021-present). Despite having no prior professional acting experience, her magnetic screen presence earned her a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series, making her the first Korean actress to win an individual SAG Award.

Following Squid Game, Jung has been embraced by both the fashion and entertainment worlds.
