Karen Fukuhara is an American actress born on February 10, 1992, in Los Angeles, California. Of Japanese descent, she studied at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and trained in martial arts, which has informed many of her action-oriented roles.

Fukuhara made her film debut as Katana in Suicide Squad (2016) and stars as Kimiko Miyashiro / The Female in the Amazon Prime Video series The Boys (2019-present). Her largely wordless but emotionally powerful performance as the formerly captive super-powered warrior has been widely praised for its physical expressiveness and depth.
