Lena Kathren Headey is an English actress born on October 3, 1973, in Hamilton, Bermuda, and raised in Shelley, West Yorkshire, England. She began acting as a teenager and landed her first film role in Waterland (1992) while still in her teens.
Headey achieved worldwide fame as Cersei Lannister in HBO's Game of Thrones (2011-2019). Her commanding portrayal of the ruthless, power-hungry queen earned her five Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Cersei became one of the most iconic villains in television history.
