Norman Mark Reedus is an American actor, model, and filmmaker born on January 6, 1969, in Hollywood, Florida. He grew up in various locations and studied in Tokyo and at the Actors Studio in New York.

Reedus is best known for playing Daryl Dixon in The Walking Dead (2010-2022) and its spin-off series Daryl Dixon (2023-present). He first gained attention in the cult film The Boondock Saints (1999). His portrayal of the crossbow-wielding survivor became so popular that fans adopted the slogan "If Daryl dies, we riot." He is also known for hosting the travel show Ride with Norman Reedus on AMC.
