Olivia Kate Cooke is an English actress born on December 27, 1993, in Oldham, Greater Manchester, England. She trained at Oldham Theatre Workshop and began her career in British television before moving to the United States for roles in film and television.

Cooke gained early recognition in the A&E series Bates Motel (2013-2017) and Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One (2018). She earned international acclaim for her portrayal of the adult Queen Alicent Hightower in HBO's House of the Dragon (2022-present), playing the ambitious daughter of Otto Hightower whose political machinations drive much of the show's central conflict.
