Rupert William Anthony Friend is an English actor, screenwriter, and director born on October 1, 1981, in Stonesfield, Oxfordshire. He trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
Friend gained critical acclaim for his portrayal of Peter Quinn in Homeland (2012-2017), transforming a character originally intended for a brief arc into one of the show's most beloved figures. His performance as the troubled, loyal black-ops agent earned widespread fan devotion.
