Tyler James Williams is an American actor born on October 9, 1992, in Westchester County, New York. He began acting as a child on Sesame Street and rose to fame as the star of the UPN/CW sitcom Everybody Hates Chris (2005-2009), based on comedian Chris Rock's childhood.

Williams stars as Gregory Eddie in ABC's Abbott Elementary (2021-present), playing a substitute-turned-permanent teacher and love interest of Janine Teagues. His performance earned him a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. He is also known for his role as Noah in The Walking Dead.
