Kimiko Miyashiro

Kimiko Miyashiro, known as "The Female" in the comics, is a former child soldier from Japan who was kidnapped and injected with Compound V by terrorists, gaining superhuman strength and a powerful healing factor. When The Boys rescue her from captivity, she is feral and mute, communicating only through violence and silence.

Kimiko's arc is one of the show's most moving — a story of reclaiming humanity after it was stripped away. Through her bond with Frenchie, she slowly opens up, learning sign language to communicate and discovering joy in music, culture, and connection. Her character challenges the show's violence-soaked premise by asking whether someone made into a weapon can choose to be something else.

Kimiko's relationship with violence remains complex throughout the series. She is The Boys' most physically powerful member, capable of extreme brutality, but she increasingly struggles with being defined by her ability to hurt people. Her desire for a normal life — one with Frenchie, dancing, and freedom — clashes with the reality that the team needs her as a fighter.
