Character Arc

Andy is an immortal Negator who carries the power called Undead, which instantly regenerates any wound and prevents him from ever permanently dying. Having lived for more than a century without memory of his origins, he has grown weary of an endless existence and obsesses over finding a death worthy of him. His reckless, blood-soaked fighting style and dark sense of humor mask a deep loneliness that only begins to lift when he meets Fuuko Izumo.

Believing that Fuuko's Unluck might finally bring about the dramatic end he craves, Andy attaches himself to her and vows to give her a beautiful death in exchange for helping him die. As their bond deepens, his motivation shifts from chasing his own demise to protecting the one person who makes immortality feel meaningful, and he takes the name Andy in tribute to a connection he refuses to lose.

Within the Union, Andy becomes one of its most formidable combatants, throwing himself into battles against reality-warping UMAs and rival Negators. His arc charts the slow thaw of a man who once wanted only to vanish, as devotion to Fuuko and his comrades rekindles a reason to keep on living, making him the chaotic, fiercely loyal heart of the series.
