Character Arc
Bihter is the young, beautiful, and fiercely proud heroine at the center of Ask-i Memnu. Eager to escape a difficult family situation and drawn by the promise of stability and standing, she accepts a marriage to the much older, wealthy widower Adnan Ziyagil. She enters the marriage believing she can build a settled life, but her restlessness and unmet longing soon surface within the gilded walls of Adnan's mansion.
Her arc turns on her secret attraction to Adnan's nephew Behlul, which grows from suppressed feeling into a consuming, hidden affair.
