Pusher is the magnetic, mischief-making heart of the neighborhood, a young man whose easy charm and constant scheming make him the source of nearly every complication on the street. His nickname comes from a childhood story in which, asked what he wanted to become, he declared he wanted to be a truck pusher, and the name stuck as a wink at both his hustle and his trouble-making nature.
Much of the drama follows Pusher's tangled romantic life, where his relationship with Dede is repeatedly undermined by his wandering eye and the other girlfriends he juggles.
