Character Arc

Mob begins as a boy who has deliberately switched himself off. Bullied for being dull and terrified of what his powers might do, he keeps his emotions on a tight leash and lets Reigen take credit for everything. His whole goal is humble and heartbreaking: to be ordinary enough that a girl might notice him.

As the seasons unfold, Mob is forced to confront the parts of himself he has buried, including a furious shadow-self that erupts when his feelings overflow. Through the Body Improvement Club, his friends, and his brother, he slowly learns that suppressing who he is costs him more than it protects him.
