Character Arc
Tej Sareen is Aarya's husband, a charismatic family man whose comfortable life is built on the dangerous enterprise he helps run alongside Aarya's father. To his wife and children he is warm and devoted, and the early part of the story leans on that affection to establish the household Aarya is fighting to preserve. Beneath the domestic surface, however, Tej is entangled in obligations, debts, and rivalries that he has largely kept from Aarya.
Tej's death is the event that sets the entire series in motion, pulling Aarya into the business she had avoided and exposing the family to the threats he had been managing. Though his on-screen presence is concentrated early, his choices and the relationships he built continue to shape the danger Aarya faces. He functions as both the loving partner Aarya mourns and the source of the troubles she must now resolve.
Through flashbacks and consequences, Tej remains a defining figure for the family's emotional and practical reckoning.
