Character Arc
10K is the group's young sharpshooter, a soft-spoken loner whose nickname comes from his goal of taking down ten thousand zombies, tallying each one as he goes. Introduced as a quiet, almost feral survivor raised in the wild by his father, he is deadly with a rifle and slingshot but socially guarded, more comfortable counting kills than making conversation. He quickly becomes one of the most beloved members of the team and a fan-favorite for his deadpan one-liners and uncanny aim.
Over the seasons, 10K thaws as the surrogate family around him draws him out of his shell. His mentor-like bond with Warren and his friendships within the group give him a found family he never expected, and his loyalty to the mission runs deep. He grows from a wary teenager into a capable young man, weathering loss, capture and transformation while never losing the quiet decency that makes audiences root for him.
10K's arc carries some of the show's biggest twists, including stretches where his loyalties and even his identity are thrown into doubt. Through it all he remains the group's reliable marksman and emotional touchstone, the kid who grows up over the course of the apocalypse. By the series end he has become a fully fledged member of the team's core, his journey from isolated survivor to trusted family one of Z Nation's most satisfying.
