Character Arc
Fiona Glenanne is a former IRA operative turned arms dealer and Michael's volatile ex-girlfriend, equal parts charm and firepower. She loves explosives almost as much as she loves Michael, and she rarely hesitates to settle a problem with a gun when his careful plans run out of patience. Beneath the bravado is a fiercely loyal partner who would burn the world down for the people she cares about.
As the team takes on case after case, Fiona becomes the emotional core of Michael's new life, pushing him to admit what he feels and to value the family they have cobbled together. Their romance flares, fractures, and reignites, complicated by Michael's obsession with clearing his name. Her own past and her willingness to break the law repeatedly land her in danger, including time behind bars on Michael's behalf.
In the later seasons Fiona is forced to confront how much of herself she has sacrificed waiting for Michael to choose her over the mission. She draws hard lines, walks away, and demands honesty, reshaping the relationship on her own terms. By the finale she stands beside him as a true partner, ready to start over far from the world of spies.
