Character Arc

Legoshi is a large gray wolf and a second-year student at Cherryton Academy who works behind the scenes in the drama club. Despite his intimidating size and powerful instincts, he is shy, observant and reluctant to draw attention to himself. From the start he is defined by an inner struggle: a constant effort to keep his carnivore nature in check so that he never becomes a threat to the herbivores around him.

His chance meetings with Haru, a small rabbit, force him to confront feelings he cannot easily separate from instinct. Legoshi gradually learns to distinguish genuine affection and the urge to protect from the raw hunger he has always feared, and this self-examination becomes the emotional core of the series. His admiration for, and rivalry with, the deer Louis pushes him further to define his own values.

Over two seasons Legoshi moves from a passive bystander to someone willing to act, investigating the unrest on campus and venturing into parts of the animal world he never expected to see. His arc is a careful study of restraint, courage and the choice to be gentle in a society that expects predators to dominate.
