Character Arc
Prince Daida is Bojji's younger half brother and, for a time, the favored heir to the throne. Strong, talented, and confident, he is everything the kingdom expects a future king to be, and he is named successor over Bojji. Despite this, Daida is not simply a rival, and his feelings toward his older brother are more complicated than mere ambition.
Daida's path takes a dark turn when he becomes entangled with the magic mirror and the schemes surrounding his father's legacy, leading to a possession that puts the entire kingdom at risk. What begins as a story of a proud young prince becomes a struggle for his very self, as forces beyond his control take hold. This crisis reframes Daida from a confident heir into a victim caught in a larger conspiracy.
As the series progresses, Daida's relationship with Bojji deepens beyond rivalry into something closer to genuine brotherhood. He comes to recognize Bojji's true worth and the strength hidden behind his brother's gentle nature. Daida's arc adds emotional weight to the succession storyline and helps drive home the show's themes of family, growth, and what it really means to be worthy of a crown.
