Aoashi

Aoashi follows Ashito Aoi, a gifted but undisciplined boy from a small seaside town in Ehime, whose raw talent and competitive fire on the football pitch far outstrip his understanding of the game. After a self-destructive outburst threatens to end his playing days, he is unexpectedly scouted by Tatsuya Fukuda, a coach who sees in Ashito a rare and unteachable instinct. Fukuda invites him to try out for the youth academy of Tokyo City Esperion, a fictional J-League club, pulling the country boy into a far larger and more demanding world than he has ever known.

At the academy, Ashito discovers that natural ability counts for little without vision, positioning, and the willingness to think several steps ahead.
