Set in the glamorous and turbulent Rio de Janeiro of the late 1950s, Most Beautiful Thing (Coisa Mais Linda) follows Maria Luiza, a young woman from Sao Paulo who arrives in the city expecting to open a restaurant with her husband, only to find that he has vanished. Stranded and forced to reinvent herself, she pours her ambition into a daring new dream: launching a sophisticated bossa nova nightclub at a time when the music and the era were just beginning to bloom.
Around Maria Luiza gathers a circle of women navigating their own paths in a society that rarely makes room for them.
