About My School President
My School President is a Thai coming-of-age series produced by GMMTV that aired on GMM25 and YouTube from late 2022 into early 2023. Set at the fictional Sru Saeng Tham School, the story follows Gun, a gifted and passionate member of the school music club who dreams of winning a televised national band contest called Hot Wave Music Awards. When the club is at risk of being shut down, the determined student council president Tinn steps in to help keep the band and their ambitions alive.
The series blends a feel-good high-school romance with a nostalgic celebration of teenage music culture. As Gun pushes his bandmates to chase the stage and Tinn balances his duties as president with his growing feelings, the two slowly move from an awkward partnership into a tender first-love story. The supporting ensemble of club members, classmates and faculty fills out a warm, lighthearted world centered on friendship, perseverance and the bittersweet rush of youth.
