Renascer is a 2024 Brazilian telenovela produced by TV Globo, a remake of the acclaimed 1993 novela originally written by Benedito Ruy Barbosa and adapted here by his grandson Bruno Luperi. Set against the cacao-growing lands of southern Bahia, it follows Jose Inocencio, a determined man who arrives with almost nothing and, through years of toil, builds a sprawling plantation and a family dynasty.
