About Tripling
Tripling is an Indian Hindi-language road-trip comedy-drama from The Viral Fever (TVF) that first premiered in 2016. It follows three adult siblings who have drifted apart in adulthood and find themselves thrown back together for an unplanned journey. The eldest, Chandan, is reeling from a stalled life and a crumbling marriage; the middle sibling, Chanchal, is trapped in an unhappy arranged marriage; and the youngest, Chitvan, is a free-spirited college dropout who turns up unannounced. When the three reunite, a spontaneous decision sends them off on a road trip that becomes as much about repairing their frayed bond as reaching any destination.
Across its episodes the series uses the open road as a backdrop for the siblings to rediscover each other, trade old grievances, and stumble through misadventures that range from awkward family encounters to chance run-ins with strangers. Subsequent seasons widen the canvas: the second season, released in 2019, sends the trio on a fresh journey amid new personal upheavals, while the third and final season, released in 2022, brings the siblings back together one more time as they navigate adulthood, relationships, and the question of what family means to each of them.
Warm, clean, and character-driven, Tripling is built on the easy chemistry of its three leads, Sumeet Vyas as Chandan, Maanvi Gagroo as Chanchal, and Amol Parashar as Chitvan. The show became one of TVF's signature titles, streaming across TVFPlay, SonyLIV, and ZEE5 over the course of its run. Rather than relying on broad gags, it leans on relatable sibling dynamics, gentle humor, and the bittersweet texture of grown-up family life, earning a loyal following among Indian streaming audiences.
