Character Arc
Elizabeth Liones is the third princess of the kingdom of Liones and the character who sets the story in motion. After the Holy Knights stage a coup and imprison her family, she flees the capital and travels Britannia alone in search of the Seven Deadly Sins. Her determination leads her to Meliodas, and she joins the Boar Hat as a waitress while helping gather the scattered knights.
Though she begins as a gentle, seemingly ordinary princess, Elizabeth proves to be brave and selfless, repeatedly putting herself in danger to protect others and to keep the group together. As the series progresses she discovers that her identity is bound up in the ancient conflict between the Goddess Clan and the Demon Clan, and that her connection to Meliodas spans far longer than a single lifetime.
Elizabeth's arc moves from a frightened runaway to a young woman who knowingly accepts her place in a cycle of loss and devotion, choosing to stand beside Meliodas despite the curse that has repeatedly separated them. Her compassion and resolve become a driving emotional thread that ties the wider fantasy conflict back to a deeply personal story.
