Character Arc
Ji Han-na is an Olympic shooting gold medalist, a prodigy celebrated since her school years for the extraordinary precision that made her a champion. By the time Good Boy opens, however, mounting criticism and misunderstanding have taken their toll, and a crisis of focus at a pivotal moment has ended her competitive career and left her withdrawn from the world.
Following in the footsteps of her father, who served as a police officer, Han-na applies for the special police recruitment and finds in the new unit both a fresh purpose and a way back from isolation. Her marksmanship and composure under pressure make her one of the team's most valuable members, even as she works to rebuild the confidence that the end of her athletic career shook.
Across the season Han-na evolves from a guarded, solitary former athlete into a trusted partner within the squad, her steadiness complementing Dong-ju's headlong drive. Her storyline threads themes of resilience and reinvention through the larger crime plot, as she proves that the discipline that once made her a shooting champion can serve a greater purpose in protecting the city.
