Character Arc
Min Ju-yeong is the central antagonist of Good Boy, presented on the surface as an unremarkable customs officer. Behind that ordinary, neatly dressed exterior, however, he is the figure who quietly controls Inseong City from the shadows, the calculating power broker whose influence reaches into the corners the athlete police unit is determined to expose.
Oh Jung-se's villain is defined less by overt menace than by cold control and composure, masking ruthless ambition beneath a calm and respectable image. As the series progresses, Min Ju-yeong's hidden network of corruption is steadily revealed, positioning him as the architect of the entrenched crime the heroes must dismantle and the true measure of how deep the city's rot runs.
His confrontation with Yoon Dong-ju's team gives the season its central conflict, pitting the athletes' open, almost reckless idealism against his patient, concealed manipulation. The character is written with shades of loneliness beneath the menace, and his unraveling over the course of the story drives the drama toward its climactic reckoning.
