Character Arc
Seo Jung-hu is the elusive night courier known only as Healer, a loner who has built his life around self-reliance, secrecy, and a single dream of escaping to a faraway island. Raised in the shadow of a tragedy tied to his late guardian, he keeps everyone at arm's length and lets only his hacker handler glimpse the real him. His combat skill and gadgetry make him the best in his shadowy trade, but his refusal to take lives marks the moral line he will not cross.
His tidy isolation unravels when a job pulls him into the orbit of reporter Chae Young-shin. To stay close to her, he assumes the identity of Park Bong-soo, a timid and clumsy nobody, allowing him to hide in plain sight. The disguise becomes a quiet comedy of its own, but it also forces Jung-hu to feel things he has spent years suppressing, as Young-shin's warmth steadily chips away at his guarded heart.
As the conspiracy connecting his past to Young-shin's comes into focus, Jung-hu must choose between vanishing as planned or standing and fighting for the people he has come to love. His arc moves from a man who trusts no one to someone willing to risk everything for the truth, transforming Healer from a mercenary alias into a genuine protector.
