Character Arc
Daniel Lindskog is the local detective in Are, a steady presence rooted in the mountain community in a way that the newcomer Hanna is not. When a young woman goes missing during the busy festival season, the case lands on an under-resourced force, and Daniel finds himself stretched thin and short on help. He is cautious and methodical by nature, more comfortable working within the rhythms of the town he knows than welcoming an unsolicited partner from the city.
His reluctant decision to let Hanna assist marks the start of an uneasy collaboration. Daniel's local knowledge, his relationships, and his understanding of how the resort town really works become essential to the investigation, complementing Hanna's sharper, more confrontational style.
