Character Arc
Siri is one half of the central couple in Threesome, a sharp and ambitious young Swede living in London while studying law and international relations. Having been with David since her late teens, she has built much of her adult identity around the security of their partnership, even as her career drive pulls her toward a life that looks increasingly different from his. The drunken threesome that opens the series cracks that security wide open, forcing Siri to admit desires and frustrations she has long kept quiet.
Over the first season, Siri swings between guilt, curiosity and a dawning sense that the encounter revealed something true rather than simply broke something good. Her connection to Camille, the French art student drawn into their orbit, becomes a source of both excitement and anxiety, complicating her assumptions about what she wants and from whom. Matilda Kallstrom plays her with a brittle wit that keeps the comedy grounded in real vulnerability.
In the second season, Siri grapples with the longer-term consequences of choosing honesty over comfort, navigating the strain on her relationship with David alongside the demands of an emerging career. Her arc becomes a study of a young woman learning that ambition and intimacy do not always point in the same direction, and that growing up sometimes means disappointing the people who knew you first.
