About Dhoom Dhaam
Dhoom Dhaam is a 2025 Netflix Indian Hindi-language action-comedy directed by Rishab Seth. It pairs the soft-spoken, strait-laced veterinarian Veer with the bold and free-spirited Koyal, a mismatched couple whose wedding night is meant to be the start of a quiet new life together. Instead, the evening detonates into one long, chaotic night when armed strangers burst in demanding to know the whereabouts of someone, or something, called Charlie. Neither newlywed has any idea what the intruders are talking about, and that ignorance only deepens the danger.
Forced out of their hotel room and into the streets, Veer and Koyal spend the rest of the night on the run, dodging rival gangs, corrupt police, and investigators while trying to untangle the mystery of the name everyone keeps repeating. The chase swings between slapstick mishaps and tense near-misses, with the breezy, one-crazy-night structure keeping the peril fast-moving and largely played for comedy rather than grim violence. As the misunderstandings pile up, the two near-strangers are repeatedly thrown back on each other for survival.
Beneath the caper plotting, the film is really about two people learning who they married. Veer's caution and Koyal's spontaneity keep colliding, but the long night also surfaces uncomfortable truths and unexpected tenderness between them. By dawn, the question of what or who Charlie is matters less than whether the couple can actually trust each other. Released on Netflix on 14 February 2025, the film drew mixed reviews, with critics praising the leads' chemistry while finding the plot familiar.
