About Lea Parker
Lea Parker is a French action and crime series that aired on M6 from 2004 to 2006. It follows Lea Parker, a young elite operative inside the DOS (Division des operations speciales), a secret unit of the French national police. By day she keeps a quiet cover as an archivist, and almost no one in her life knows what she really does. The show was pitched as a glamorous, fast-moving thriller in the vein of polished international action series, built around a charismatic female lead.
Each week Lea takes on a fresh assignment, going undercover to break up trafficking rings, protect targets, and stop threats before they reach the public. Her father, Maximilien Plastrone, runs the unit and is the only family member who knows her true profession, which keeps the work hidden from her sister Camille. Alongside colleague Benoit Morin, Lea balances close-quarters fieldwork, disguises, and quick thinking with the strain of a double life she cannot explain to the people closest to her.
Created by Nicolas Durand-Zouky, Jean-Benoit Gillig and Jeanne Le Guillou, the series gave former Miss France Sonia Rolland a high-profile leading role and ran for two seasons totaling 50 episodes. Mixing case-of-the-week missions with the ongoing tension of Lea's secret, Lea Parker traveled well beyond France and built an audience across Europe as a slick, female-fronted entry in the action genre.
