About Linlang
Linlang (international title Deceit) is a 2023 Filipino mystery drama produced by Dreamscape Entertainment and streamed on Prime Video, directed by FM Reyes and Jojo A. Saguin. It follows Victor Lualhati, a former boxer turned seaman, whose marriage to Juliana appears settled until small inconsistencies begin to suggest that the life they have built rests on things left unsaid. What starts as a private worry slowly grows into a search for the truth about the woman he loves.
As Victor digs deeper, he comes to suspect that Juliana has not been honest with him, and that another man, Alexander, is bound up in her story. The series treats the unraveling in restrained, character-driven terms, weighing loyalty against suspicion and asking how much of a marriage can survive once trust is broken. Rather than sensational detail, it stays with the quiet damage that secrets do to a family.
Across its run the show became one of Prime Video's most talked-about Filipino titles, anchored by Kim Chiu, Paulo Avelino, and JM de Guzman, with a strong supporting ensemble led by Maricel Soriano. An extended broadcast cut, Linlang: The Teleserye Version, later aired on Kapamilya Channel in 2024. The drama is best known for its slow-burning tension, its focus on consequences, and the moral questions it raises about deception within a household.
