About Loner Life in Another World
Loner Life in Another World is a 2024 isekai fantasy anime adapted from the light novel series written by Shoji Goji, with manga illustrations by Bibi. When an entire high school class is suddenly summoned to another world, every student is granted a powerful cheat skill from a god to help them survive. Every student, that is, except the perpetual loner Haruka, who arrives late and is left to pick through the leftover, seemingly useless skills nobody else wanted.
Rather than join his classmates, Haruka decides to embrace the solitary existence he always preferred and strike out on his own. Armed with a strange grab-bag of discarded abilities, he discovers that clever combinations of these overlooked skills can be surprisingly overpowered, letting him clear dungeons, craft gear, and outfit himself far better than expected. His goal is simple: live a quiet, self-sufficient life away from the crowd, even as the world keeps pulling him back toward other people.
Along the way Haruka crosses paths with figures who complicate his lone-wolf plans, including the class representative Touka Tsuyuri, the noble Merielle whom he rescues from bandits but keeps forgetting, and the mysterious knight Angelica. Produced by Hayabusa Film and Passione and directed by Akio Kazumi, the series blends dungeon-crawling action, comedic skill experimentation, and the running gag of an antisocial hero who is far too capable to actually be left alone.
