About Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy

Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy follows Makoto Misumi, an ordinary Japanese high schooler who is suddenly summoned to another world as part of an old promise between his parents and a god. The catch is cruel and comedic: the goddess who rules this world takes one look at Makoto and recoils, declaring him too plain and unattractive to serve as her hero. Rather than welcome him, she strips him of his title and banishes him to the harsh, monster-filled wastelands at the very edge of the world.

Far from being broken by the rejection, Makoto discovers that his ordinary Earth background gives him absurdly high combat and magic stats in this new realm, where humans are a minority. Cast out among the demi-humans and beasts that the goddess despises, he begins forging genuine bonds instead of seeking glory. He befriends and recruits powerful beings who become his loyal retainers, including the ancient dragon Tomoe and the former arachne Mio, both of whom take human forms and devote themselves to him.

Together they build a safe haven called Asora, a pocket world where outcast demi-humans can live in peace. Blending lighthearted comedy, over-the-top action and a warm found-family heart, the series charts Makoto's slow rise from a mocked reject into the quiet leader of a thriving community, even as he navigates the politics of guilds, kingdoms and the goddess who wronged him.
