About Perfect Family
Perfect Family (완벽한 가족) is a 2024 South Korean mystery drama that aired on KBS2, adapted from the popular webtoon of the same name by Nyangpa and Joo Eun and directed by Isao Yukisada. Across twelve tense episodes, it follows an outwardly enviable household whose carefully maintained image begins to crack when a shocking incident pulls them into a web of secrets, suspicion, and quiet desperation. The series uses the language of the domestic thriller to ask how well the members of a model family truly know one another.
At the center are Choi Jin-hyuk, a respected lawyer, his wife Ha Eun-joo, a former neuropsychiatric specialist who stepped back to raise their family, and their bright daughter Choi Seon-hee. When a death in their orbit throws long-buried tensions into the open, the people closest to Seon-hee begin to doubt one another, and the polished surface of their lives gives way to questions no one wants to answer. Drawing on a cast led by Park Ju-hyun, Yoon Se-ah, and Kim Byung-chul, the latter two reuniting after their memorable turn as a married couple in Sky Castle, Perfect Family blends psychological suspense with sharp social observation about ambition, appearances, and the pressures placed on so-called perfect families.
