About Snabba Cash
Snabba Cash is a Swedish crime drama that extends the world of Jens Lapidus's Easy Money novels into present-day Stockholm. The series follows Leya, an ambitious single mother trying to raise funding for her technology startup. Her vision of building a legitimate business collides with the realities of an investment world that keeps the door closed to someone with her background, and with the pull of family ties that reach into the city's criminal economy.
As Leya searches for the capital that could carry her company to its next stage, the worlds of finance and the street begin to overlap in ways she cannot fully control. The series sets her startup ambitions against the orbit of Salim, a figure embedded in Stockholm's gang economy, and traces how money, loyalty and reputation move between boardrooms and back streets. The central tension is the lead's dilemma: how far she is willing to go, and what she is willing to risk, to keep her dream alive.
Across two seasons and twelve episodes, Snabba Cash treats crime in broad, non-glamorizing terms, keeping its focus on consequence rather than spectacle. The show frames the collision between the tech world's promise and the underworld's gravity as a story about choices, compromise and the cost of belonging, told through characters whose paths keep crossing whether they want them to or not.
