Thin Blue Line, known in Swedish as Tunna blaa linjen, is a Scandinavian police drama set among the patrol officers of Malmo, a diverse city in southern Sweden. Rather than chasing a single grand mystery, the series follows the daily shifts of a small team as they answer calls, defuse disputes, and try to do the right thing under pressure. The show is as interested in the people behind the uniforms as it is in the cases they handle, and it built a strong following across the Nordic region after debuting on Sweden's public broadcaster SVT in 2021.
At the center of the ensemble are partners and colleagues whose private lives keep spilling into their work. Sara is an earnest newcomer who arrives with strong convictions and quickly learns how messy real policing can be.
