About Spy x Family
Spy x Family follows Twilight, the greatest spy of the fictional nation of Westalis, who is handed an impossible assignment: get close to a reclusive political target by enrolling a child at the boy's elite private school. To pull it off, the master of disguise adopts the identity of psychiatrist Loid Forger and assembles a family practically overnight, recruiting an orphan girl and a wife to complete the picture for his mission, codenamed Operation Strix.
The catch is that everyone is lying. Loid has no idea that his clever new daughter, Anya, is a telepath who can read every secret thought in his head, or that his sweet, slightly awkward wife, Yor, moonlights as a lethal contract killer known as the Thorn Princess. The result is a show that races between white-knuckle action, espionage intrigue, and some of the warmest domestic comedy in modern anime, as a fake family slowly becomes something genuinely real.
Adapted by studios Wit Studio and CloverWorks from Tatsuya Endo's hit manga, Spy x Family became a global sensation almost instantly, powered by its irresistible cast and the breakout charm of its peanut-loving little telepath. The Japanese voice cast anchors all of it, with Takuya Eguchi as the unflappable Loid, Atsumi Tanezaki as the scene-stealing Anya, and Saori Hayami as the deadly yet endearing Yor.
