About Sweet Tooth

Sweet Tooth is a Netflix fantasy adventure series set in a world reshaped by a devastating virus known as the Sick. At the same moment the illness swept across humanity, a new generation of children began to be born as hybrids, part human and part animal. Chief among them is Gus, a gentle deer-boy with antlers and floppy ears, who is raised in secret deep in the forests of Yellowstone by a protective father he calls Pubba.

When tragedy and curiosity finally pull Gus beyond the safety of his fence, he sets out across a broken America in search of his mother and a place where he might belong. Along the way he is reluctantly taken under the wing of Tommy Jepperd, a hulking former football star turned wanderer whom Gus nicknames the Big Man. Their odd-couple friendship, tender and funny and sometimes dangerous, forms the warm heart of the show.

Across three seasons the story widens to follow other survivors, from the fierce sanctuary-builder Aimee Eden to scientists racing to understand the link between the hybrids and the plague. Blending a road-trip fairy tale with post-apocalyptic stakes, Sweet Tooth keeps a hopeful, family-friendly tone as it asks what it means to protect the innocent and to choose family in a world that has forgotten how to be kind.
