About The Shiunji Family Children
The Shiunji Family Children (Shiunji-ke no Kodomotachi) is a 2025 romantic-comedy anime adapted from the manga by Reiji Miyajima, the creator of Rent-A-Girlfriend. It centers on the wealthy Shiunji household, where the eldest son, Arata Shiunji, has grown up surrounded by six younger sisters in a lively, affectionate, and often chaotic home. As the responsible older brother, Arata has always treated his sisters with care, content in the comfortable rhythm of family life.
That foundation is upended when the family's father reveals a long-held secret: none of the seven children are actually blood-related. The shock forces every sibling to reconsider what their relationships truly mean, and several of the sisters begin to view Arata in a new, romantic light. Arata, meanwhile, is left to navigate the confusing emotional fallout, trying to honor the bonds he has always cherished while figuring out what the revelation means for the future of the people he loves most.
Produced by the studio Doga Kobo, the series blends warm domestic comedy with a tangle of budding romances, leaning on the distinct personalities of the Shiunji sisters and the gentle, well-meaning brother at the center of it all. Lighthearted and character-driven, it explores how a single revelation can reshape a close-knit family. Episode counts, broadcast details, and credits are flagged for fact-check against official sources.
